How will I get my finished painting?
If you live within 75 miles of me I will deliver your painting. Paintings will be shipped UPS. Standard shipping charges apply and will be calculated based on size. All art is securely packaged with care to protect your investment.
How long will it take for you to complete the painting?
Once we decide on the details of your painting and I have received all the necessary materials from you, I typically begin work immediately. You can expect it to take 4-6 weeks on average for me to complete the painting.
What do I need to do first?
I would like you to contact me either by filling out the contact form on this website or you may call or email me directly. We will then schedule a phone or Skype call to discuss a potential commission. After our conversation if we both agree to move forward I require a $175.00 non refundable deposit and a signed agreement to reserve your commission. This deposit is then applied to the purchase price.
Why do I have to reserve a space?
I accept a limited number of commissions per year in order to maintain the highest quality product and to deliver in a timely manner. These slots fill quickly so this is the best way to book your painting.
Do you take the photos or do you work from mine?
If you are local (within 75 miles of Tulsa OK USA) I can photograph the subject. If you have a good photos we can use them. I would like to see several to see if one would be better than another. I need in focus photos where no flash was used. If you are planning on taking the photos see my guide to photographing your pet, or my guide to photographing flowers.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes I do have gift certificates, you may purchase a reservation for $175.00 and once the recipient decides on the size etc. a total will then be calculated and the painting begins or you may know what you want and just buy it outright. I will then send you the gift certificate.
What happens when you finish my painting?
When I feel the painting is close to finish I will send a digital file for your approval. At this time a couple of small changes may be made. After the changes are made another digital file will be sent and upon approval final payment is due.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, check or you may use PayPal. If you send a check it will have to clear the bank before work begins. Please do not send cash through the mail. PayPal is the handiest. If you choose this method I will email an invoice and you can pay with whatever means your comfortable.
